The establishment of this executive leadership position was made possible by generous funding through the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, a lead partner in support of ChildStrive’s mission to empower families and children in our Snohomish and north King Counties.
“We are excited to welcome Gena to ChildStrive,” said Mary Cline-Stively, CEO of ChildStrive. “Her leadership experience and relational approach will help us deepen connections with our supporters and reach new partners, ensuring we can continue to deliver vital services and programs that support families and strengthen community.”
Most recently, Gena served as Chief Development Officer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound. Her leadership was instrumental in bolstering the organization’s infrastructure, ensuring sustainability in emerging from the pandemic, and positioning it for future fundraising success. Prior to that role, she served at Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson in the Los Angeles region and other organizations in the California area. Her accomplishments have included establishing new corporate partnerships, increased grant revenue, deepened community collaborations, strategic planning and rebranding.
Gena’s strategic mindset and collaborative approach will enable ChildStrive to expand our network of supporters and enhance its ability to provide comprehensive services to families in our community. Her leadership will be instrumental as the organization continues to build a brighter future for children and families.
